Guacamole

Quick snack post! One of my favorite things to eat in the summer is fresh guacamole. Over the years I’ve tried out many different fancy recipes with lots of festive ingredients (jalapeño, sun-dried tomatos, pickled onions, etc) but I always seem to come back to this simple one. It’s delicious and clean tasting, goes great on sandwiches, burgers, tacos, or just with chips and salsa!

Also I’ve just been dying to share my love of uni-taskers (technically this one does three things, but it’s only for avocados) with the world, so check out my snazzy avocado tool in the first picture.

Guacamole

– 2 ripe avocados

– 1/2 a medium white onion, diced

– juice of 1-2 limes

– salt and pepper

Slice the avocados in half and scoop the inside out into a bowl, save the pits! Mash up the avocados with a fork and add the onions, lime juice, salt and pepper. Place the pits in the center to keep it fresh. Bam, you’re done! Easiest homemade recipe ever.
