Mini Post: Partially Homemade Strawberry Lemonade

So in case you didn’t see the words along with the title of this post, I’ve decided to add a new section to the ol’ blog: mini posts! As much as I love cooking, I’m never immune to laziness/time constraints, so oftentimes I find myself reaching for simple pre-made bases (frozen puff pastry dough, cake/brownie mix, juices, frozen berries, etc) and jazzing them up. It’s the perfect choice for when you want to make something awesome but don’t necessarily want to commit a whole bunch of time, y’know what I’m sayin’? I always used to feel guilty about putting things like that up here, but I’ve finally thought better of the whole thing. I think it’s actually good idea, both for people in a time crunch and for those who are still beginners in the kitchen! So I hope these are helpful in the future!


– 1 bottle lemonade (I like this kind, it’s pretty mild and not ridiculously sweet, which I always prefer in a bottled lemonade)

– 10 fresh or frozen (and thawed) strawberries, plus 4 extra

– 1 lemon, sliced

Place strawberries in a food processor and puree until smooth. Pour lemonade into a pitcher or mason jar and add strawberry puree. Stir until combined. Slice lemon and extra strawberries and add them to the pitcher. Place in fridge until you’re ready to serve it!
